Bought Toyota Hilux quite cheaply - had to return it: handbrake cable gone, rusty chassis, front subframe rusty, brakes rusty, would not pass MOT. Also had quite a job to get my money back, although it was refunded in full eventually.

Hi Anna, we feel this is an unfair and inaccurate review, the vehicle was a 16 year old Toyota Hilux work truck (2008) and the MOT was carried out on 27th December 2023, by an independent garage. We accept that the handbrake needed attention, which we offered to repair - however you also complained about rust to us on the Friday and we agreed to look into it or alternatively we offered to pay for a repair. All this was logged in a text conversation which i have referred to for this reply. You decided to bring the vehicle back to us which you did on the Monday morning, in a matter of 30 min the full amount was paid back to you, even though the rust under the body was mentioned on the previous MOT certificate from last December - in spite of this we still agreed to refund you in full, so we feel we went above and beyond to keep you happy, on this occasion, Anna
